A large retail client is looking for 2 seasoned DevOps Engineers to be hybrid/onsite in Beaverton, OR. The ideal candidate will have skills to automate repeatable processes, develop integrated solutions, and help deliver a seamless cloud deployment and reporting platform as well as have demonstrable experience coding and scripting using languages like Python, JavaScript, etc. Understand serverless architectures and continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD), plus GraphQL and RESTful API development. Understand infrastructure-as-code technologies (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation), source code management (GitHub) as it relates to the developer experience. Build automation skills (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) are also required.

Attention to detail and the ability to communicate with a highly technical audience are desired qualifications. This team provides technical solutions that serve other engineering, data, or business-facing teams. Our technical solutions serve the end-to-end breadth of the organization, streamlining the internal developer experience to improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and code quality. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams, as well as will identify and resolve issues and inefficiencies in delivery workflows. Key responsibilities include automating delivery processes and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) platforms. Orchestrating automated tests to reduce manual effort and improve product quality. Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT related discipline or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training, and experience.

3+ years of development experience using AWS.

5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.

Comfortable working in a Linux environment.

Proficient in programming using two or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, Groovy, Java.

Experience in designing and consuming Rest and GraphQL APIs.

Experience in containerization using Docker.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience setting up, maintaining, and automating continuous integration systems.

Strong working knowledge of Containerization with Kubernetes.

Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Experience working on a Platform as a Service (PaaS) team.
