This person will support the development and integration safety for Army Munitions Power Control Modules and other safety critical component modifications involving both complex hardware and software. We have a Sr. SME who will be a fantastic trainer for this person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

System and Software Safety Program Plans.

Functional Hazard Analyses.

Requirements Hazard Analyses.

Subsystem and Software Hazard Analyses.

Fault Tree Analyses.

Software Safety Compliance Matrix Tracking.

Safety Engineering Status Briefing Material to support Program Milestone Reviews, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Safety Review Boards.

Required Skills & Experience

US Citizenship

STEM degree

5+ years related experience

Experienced in identifying and documenting system and component level design safety risks, hazard controls, and acceptance/approval of verification/validation results

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

experience with DoD programs

EE degree or Computer Science degree
