To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an ICT Test Development Engineer located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the ICT Test Development Engineer role involves the development of ICT test programs for a variety of customers in different industries (quality, etc.)

What a typical day looks like:
  • Development of Keysight 3070 In-Circuit Test applications.
  • Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
  • Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.
  • Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
  • Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
  • Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
  • Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
  • Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as proper problem-solving techniques.
  • Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • 6-8 years of experience writing and debugging ICT software
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, or related field
  • MUST HAVE experience with Test Development for Keysight/Agilent 3070
  • Development and the modification of In-Circuit programs on Keysight 3070 systems
  • Prior experience with JTAG/Boundary scan technology and In-system programming
  • Perform installation and debug of ICT fixtures at Flex sites
  • Assist on fixture fabrication / ordering and manage suppliers.
  • Able to travel up to 10%
  • Python, Perl scripting experience (preferred)
  • GenRad (preferred)
