As a Charge Nurse at Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center , you'll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in CVICU adds tremendous value to our nursing team.

Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. Advanced Practice Providers and Faculty Physicians can receive up to $90,000 if full-time and hired within a year of completing their residency or fellowship. Responsibilities
- Mentors others in areas such as competency, documentation, equipment use, plan of care, National Patient Safety Goals, and participation in inservice education.
- Coaches to improve care
Provides direct patient care as appropriate to meet the needs of the patients and department. - Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel.
- Coordinates patient flow on the unit to facilitate the provision of timely and effective care
- Demonstrates appropriate prioritization and critical thinking skills in critical situations
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or charge nurse experience
- AZ RN license
- AHA BLS and ACLS
- ADN or foreign equivalent.
- Skilled Working Knowledge of the EMR and hospital systems.
Preferred:
- CVICU experience or Critical Care Charge Nurse
- BSN
- Certification in Specialty
