ICU Nurse Manager

Insight Global is seeking an ICU Nurse Manager to join one of the top healthcare systems in New York. This role involves managing the RN staff across the surgical ICU, NICU/CCU Unit, and 2 step down units. Responsibilities day to day will include creating schedules for staff, ensuring proper staffing levels (FTE vs. PRN) are present, holding performance reviews, and ensuring nursing professional development. Other aspects that this person will be involved with are hiring decisions, and sometimes may have the ability to be involved in PI projects (such as infectious disease rates, etc.).

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience overseeing and managing a team
5+ years of clinical experience in the ICU
Unencumbered NY State RN License
BLS and ACLS
Bachelors or BSN
