An Employer in the Midland, TX area is looking for an I&E QA/QC Inspector. The I&E QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance of instrumentation and electrical (I&E) systems, equipment, and components with project specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle, from factory acceptance testing (FAT) to site acceptance testing (SAT).

Required Skills & Experience

Experience conducting thorough inspections of I&E equipment, systems, and components to verify conformance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory codes.

experience reviewing and interpret I&E engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure compliance with installation and operational requirements.

Confident with verifying calibration, loop checks, and functional tests of I&E equipment.

Experience overseeing third-party calibration, functional, and loop testing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Ability to Identify and document non-conformances, initiate corrective action requests, and track resolution.

Experience preparing detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records and quality assurance documentation.

Collaborate with project teams, including engineering, construction, and commissioning, to resolve I&E related issues.

Experience ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures during all inspection activities.

Participate in required training and development activities to maintain technical competence.
