The Role
This position can sit out of a Collision Center in these locations: Dallas, TX or Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA or Orlando, FL.
A successful Industrial Engineer will use data driven process improvement experience to quantitatively assess current business system performance and execute change to reduce cost, optimize throughput, and develop standards. This role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize business needs among multiple stakeholders while focusing on issue resolution and inter-departmental engagement.


Responsibilities
  • Identify and leverage existing data; develop standards and definitions for data where needed
  • Provide layout analysis and modeling for new brownfield sites and current site operations
  • Create and maintain Value Stream Maps and cycle line layouts
  • Modify, create, and implement standards utilizing change management methods
  • Manage and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions throughout the Collision organization
  • Identify, quantify, compare, and execute process improvements to drive safety, ergonomics, repair quality, performance, capital utilization, demand attainment, warehousing, and logistics strategies
  • Use predetermined time standard methods to analyze and optimize current and future planned processes
  • Create and implement tools to audit efficiency and identify opportunities
  • Define and manage operational metrics for current and future systems
  • Calculate, propose, and implement new methods and processes for existing systems


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent Engineering field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of 2D/3D layout in AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, Bluebeam
  • Advanced-level Microsoft Office skills, primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Analytics, in SQL, Python or similar
  • Discrete event simulation in FlexSim 3D
  • Manufacturing at scale experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, perform, and implement mathematical concepts of Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or relevant equivalencies
