A client in the Huntsville area is looking to add Industrial/Manufacturing/Process Engineers to their team. This person will be responsible for working with various teams including: the machine shop, laser area, welding teams, assembly, and final assembly teams. They will be responsible for working with management to identify bottlenecks in production and working with the production teams to determine changes that need to be made to ultimately increase production. Candidates must feel comfortable working hand in hand with technicians and solutioning processes.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience working in a Manufacturing/Production environment

Experience with process modeling and simulations

Experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events

Ability to work hand in hand with technicians on the floor and solution to improve processes in production

Experience with root cause analysis

Bachelors degree in ENG

Strong communication and ability to work on a team in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Aerospace or rocket manufacturing experience

Experience transitioning products from development to production

Manufacturing planning experience

Advanced Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables

Any lean manufacturing certifications

PMP or Six-Sigma Black belt certification

Familiar with the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, and Act) methodology
