Job Summary

Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Integration Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as an Information Management Liaison! This position will implement, coordinate, monitor, and analyze technical information between DCT business areas and MN.IT@DHS. This position exists to coordinate the collection and processing of data to ensure compliance with federal and state regulators including The Joint Commission and licensing boards. This position conducts workflow analysis in order to improve operational process, which includes writing policies, system analysis and design, and identifying data needs. This position develops and utilizes data base systems in collaboration with the application oversite teams, legal divisions and MN.IT@DHS.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Develop processes and analyze operational areas in order to develop workflow diagrams of the present process and to identify new workflows to improve operational practices.
  • Collaborate with MN.IT@DHS in order to ensure compliance with their expectations while retaining the business needs and requirements of the business areas within DCT working closely with the application oversight teams.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and quality assurance of new and enhanced development.
  • Develop training, policies, and approaches regarding usage of various computer systems.
  • Develop and audit practices to ensure data quality.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

One (1) year of experience with technical information, databases, and data analysis. Experience must include the following:
  • Experience working with large databases such as electronic health records systems.
  • Experience improving and defining operational procedures.
  • Experience identifying data needs to support continuous process improvement.

OR

Three (3) years of administrative support experience in the areas of technical information, databases, and data analysis. Experience must include the following:
  • Experience processing and entering information into large databases such as electronic health records systems.
  • Experience supporting continuous process improvement and operational procedures.

Note: A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, health informatics, or related field may substitute for 1 year of administrative support experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Phoenix Electronic Health Record system.
  • Familiarity with compliance-related issues.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Certification in process improvement such as Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma certification.
