Position Overview:

• Seeking an Information Security Engineer to join our team as we build out a new Data Science/machine learning organization to transform how Security works today.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead solution development for complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Collaborate and consult with key Cyber Security teams, technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to implement complex projects
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for Cyber Security focused projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• 5+ years of information security experience including experience in one or more of the following security disciplines: information security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, host/network forensics, cyber-crime investigation, penetration testing, business continuity, or cyber threat intelligence
• 5+ years of experience in information security risk management or information security technology
• Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders

Position Requirements:

• Senior level experience with Information Security / Cyber Security
• This person will be responsible for helping with the framing of use cases. Once the models are in place, they will analyze the outputs, and helps them understand what to do with them.
• Cyber Security Engineering background 8+ years (ideally in SOC, red team, firewalls)
• Basic understanding of ML
