Duties:

To plan, design, enforce and audit security policies and procedures which safeguard the integrity of and
access to enterprise systems, files, and data elements. To recognize and identify potential areas where
existing data security policies and procedures require change, or where ones need to be developed,
especially regarding future business expansion. To provide management with risk assessments and
security briefings to advise them of critical issues that may affect customers, or corporate security
objectives. To evaluate and recommend security products, services and/or procedures to enhance
productivity and effectiveness.

Key Job Duties/Responsibilities

• This position is required to engage in daily threat hunting through a variety of tools, reviewing alerts, responding to user requests and project work. The Engineer selected for this position will work as part of an event/incident response team, that works collaboratively with Networking, Infrastructure, Compliance, Risk and Architecture to identify, contain, and remediate potential malicious actions within the environment.

• The position is required to become an expert in our SIEM environment, which primarily involves GreyMatter, but also includes corroborating information from logs, and other meta-data platforms. This includes understanding how CVE's may affect our workstations, endpoints, and related servers. Will also be responsible for reviewing relevant information from H-ISAC, MS-ISAC, ISSA, CIS and other threat feeds on a regular basis.

• The level II Engineer position is also responsible to work on remediation projects and provide input as a team member for projects with other groups.

• This role will also be part of the on-call rotation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field and three (3) years of related experience
required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification preferred.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, CISM or CISA certifications

• Security mindset and used to threat-hunting in a SIEM and related tools

• Basic knowledge of Networking, Servers and a variety of operating systems

• Working knowledge of Crowdstrike or comparable EDR

• Familiarity with SCCM/InTune or comparable tools
