Information Specialist PRN

As the Information Specialist - PRN, you will:

• As the first point of contact for community members engaging Suburban Hospital, this person must represent the hospital with a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude.
• Responsible for answering and processing calls that come into the hospital.
• Responsible for providing continuous telecommunications and safety monitoring support for the hospital.

Location: Bethesda, MD

PRN status - weekends rotating shift 7:30am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-11pm to and flexible to help during evening shift coverage Monday - Friday as needed

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• College coursework in business management or healthcare field desirable.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

Allied health and/or customer service background preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.50 per hour - Maximum 18.50 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
