We have a current opportunity for an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) as a part of the Cybersecurity & Compliance team located at our Littleton, Colorado facility. In this role you will work report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The ISSM leads a team of Information Systems Security Officers who ensure secure operations of networks in specific locations. The ISSM will also serve as the ISSO for our Littleton location.

Responsibilities:

The Information Systems Security Manager will be responsible for the following tasks
  • Advise the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on risk levels and security posture for assigned networks.
  • Assure successful implementation and functionality of security requirements and appropriate information technology (IT) policies and procedures that are consistent with the organization's mission and goals for assigned networks.
  • Ensures that security policies, procedures, and directives of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual NISPOM DCID 6 3 and JAFAN 6 3 manuals.
  • Manages experienced professionals in the fields of information assurance, computer security, information privacy and digital forensics in the development, preparation, implementation and maintenance of information assurance and computer security plans and standard operating procedures, certifications, and accreditation activities.
  • Maintains the oversight and compliance of existing information systems through technical reviews and system auditing.
  • Interfaces with program management and clients on security requirements implementation, required documentation, and classification management.
  • Provides information systems security guidance awareness and training and participates in customer security inspections and reviews.
  • Manages, develops, prepares, implements, and maintains of security plans standard operating procedures SOPs and security test and evaluation plans
  • Collaborates with internal security and IT staff to ensure the continued compliance and secure operation of accredited information systems.
  • Keeps abreast of industry best practices and trends, as well as new technologies, and then plans and advises for implementation.
  • Support necessary compliance activities (e.g., ensure that system security configuration guidelines are followed, compliance monitoring occurs).
  • Serve as the ISSO for the Littleton site and plan to support up to 10% travel.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a security related field with a minimum of 12 years applicable experience and at least 4 years of management as an ISSO or related job
  • Experience with Office 365 Collaborative Applications including: SharePoint Online, Teams, Lists, Forms, Visio, Planner
  • Strong background and knowledge of security policies, procedures, and directives of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual NISPOM DCID 6 3 and JAFAN 6 3 manuals
  • Strong background in the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation process of information systems
  • Experience writing, reviewing and coordinating system security plans
  • CISSP Certification
  • Excellent communication skills with experience summarizing, packaging, and presenting information to all levels of management
  • Special Access Program experience as an ISSO


Desired Skills:
  • Experience as an ISSM leading multiple ISSOs
  • Experience as an ISSM for Special Access Programs
  • Experience as Security Control Auditor or Assessor for USG organizations evaluation classified systems, especially Special Access Systems
  • Strong work ethic and a self-starter with multi-tasking skills and the ability to work collaboratively to meet deadlines


Salary range: $137,500 - $190,000
