MUST HAVES:
  • 5 + years or experience in INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEERING spanning Networking, Database Administration, Mainframe, Desktop, Compute, Storage, voice, messaging for Large Corporate environments at scale.
  • 5+ years of PROJECT MANAGEMENT experience working in Agile environments with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Program Increment Planning (PI) and leading ceremonies all while utilizing JIRA for project management and issues tracking
  • 5+ years working in DevOps environments utilizing CI/CD practices to drive initiatives through the finish line with intended outcomes through agile ways of working.
Job Responsibilities:
  • The Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor will support the activities related to managing, facilitating and timely development of the appropriate documentation (Opportunity Canvases) as part of the handoff of approved requests to the APM Intake teams.
  • This role within the Global Intake Planning and Delivery will assess, prioritize, and drive decomposition of new Lean Business Cases by collaborating with stakeholders to understand the request, pain points and expected outcomes, and applying Infrastructure knowledge and expertise to translate portfolio needs into requirements to achieve the expected outcomes. Resource may need to leverage agility tools (e.g., Jira) and implement strategies to optimize execution efficiencies.
  • Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Assignment involves a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues and requires completion without day-to-day supervision but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members.
Infrastructure Skills:
  • Engineering, product, or project experience in one or more typical infrastructure spaces.
  • Technologies span Networking, Database Administration, Mainframe, Desktop, Compute, Storage, voice, messaging, etc
  • Knowledge / experience with Tech Debt type efforts, IAM applications, platforms, DevOps, Active Directory etc. would be a plus.
  • Ability to engage cross functionally with Security, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering.
Project Management and Execution Skills:
  • Project Management experience with a keen focus on understanding and identifying stakeholder expectations and delivery timelines.
  • Planning, organizing, and ensuring the assignments are done in a timely manner with smooth transition of quality content to the appropriate APM Intake teams.
  • Collaborates across Infrastructure teams as needed to ensure Jira assignments and decomposition activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner.
  • Experience with Jira would be key.

  • Proven skill at balancing technical knowledge with business possibility and acumen.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to apply critical thinking.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
