Infrastructure Ops Tech

Provide day-to-day support, proactive maintenance, and perform independent complex system troubleshooting. The Senior Technician, Infrastructure Operations is responsible for all aspects of the installation of low voltage, fiber optic, outside plant, data center structured cabling and the equipment within the critical environments that support the organization and parks.
General responsibilities include:
Installing and/or overseeing installations within the UPT critical environments and/or of network infrastructure cable
Oversight of vendors and/or in-house technicians
Reporting back project status, issues, accomplishments, and resource matters to the UPT Infrastructure leadership Identify capacity and performance issues to ensure uninterrupted service. Practice network asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information. Assist in the operational, strategic planning, and business continuity / disaster recovery solution.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years in Data center
- Low voltage install, routing, splicing, etc.
- Cabling experience
- Basic Microsoft Office exp
