Inpatient Cardiology PA Openings | Heart Hospital | Albuquerque, NM | No Call

Lovelace is hiring a Physician Assistant to join our hospital cardiac care team in beautiful Albuquerque, NM! In this role, consult on hospital cardiac care patients for both the Lovelace Medical Center and Heart Hospital based on varying census, based on inpatient volume; support physicians at both hospital locations to ensure testing and care are provided promptly so LOS is not prolonged; and manage incoming calls from outside referring hospitals and providers.

About this Inpatient Cardiac Care PA Job Opening:

• Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE)
• Join a team of 25 physicians, 9 nurse practitioners, 4 physician assistants, and over 125 support staff members.
• Inpatient H ospital based
• Morning Shift and Swing Shift with rotating weekend coverage
• Prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases of the cardiovascular system
• Promote heart health and provide rehabilitation to those who've undergone surgery or treatment for heart ailments
• No Call Coverage Required
• EMR: Epic

Minimum Requirements:

• Board Certified as NP or PA is required
• 2+ years advanced practice provider or prior 5+ years RN critical care experience required, preferably in a hospital setting.
