Medix is looking to hire a Mental Health Social Worker (ACSW) to join the inpatient facility of a well-established Mental Health Center in Los Angeles, 90026.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with a caseload of 15 patients, ages 18-59.
  • Complete a comprehensive psychosocial assessment and discharge planning.
  • Execute appropriate discharge planning.
  • Provide individual, family and group therapies, as well as overall case management.
  • Apply knowledge of DSM diagnoses, crisis intervention, mandatory reporting, age specific issues, and cultural competency.

Requirements / Experience:
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or related area from an accredited university
  • Valid CA BBS registration or proof of pending application
  • Successful experience or psychiatric internship providing individual, family and group therapy.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Spanish bilingual

Schedule:
  • Monday- Friday 8:00- 5:00 pm

Pay range:

$29.85-31.31/hr BOE
