We are looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to function exclusively as an inpatient provider with our established Integrated Surgery department at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, Maryland. The APP will solely provide inpatient support for multi-specialty surgery providers. This position will NOT include first assist duties.
The schedule for this role will be (4) 10-hour days or (5) 8-hr days depending on the hospital's need. Enjoy working with our multi-specialty surgical teams, e.g., General Surgery, Colorectal, Orthopedics, etc. This position excludes weekend, after-hour or call responsibilities. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of post-graduate experience in a surgical practice or acute care role.
