The Inpatient Therapy Coordinator has a vital role in our organization's commitment to providing high-quality therapy services to our clients. This position involves overseeing and coordinating the clinical aspects of our inpatient therapy programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing support to our team of therapists.

Clinical Oversight/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide a team of therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices, ethical guidelines, and organizational protocols.
  • Conduct regular case reviews and provide feedback to therapists to enhance clinical effectiveness and client outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans for complex cases.
  • Provide direct patient care to patients throughout the Chester Medical Center Campus


Administrative Functions:
  • Assist in the scheduling and coordinating of therapy sessions, ensuring efficient utilization of therapist resources. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant documentation.


Additional Job Description

Experience: Proven experience in clinical supervision and coordination within a therapy setting. Strong understanding of ethical guidelines, legal regulations, and best therapy practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy required, Master’s or higher preferred.

Certification/License: Current South Carolina licensure or certification as a licensed physical or occupational therapist
