The Inside Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in the sales ecosystem, responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive engagement with potential customers, supporting the outside sales team and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Efficiently follow up on open quotes to close sales
- Use existing leads to find new customers
- Lead the entire sales process, meeting or exceeding quotas
- Utilize ERP system for accurate quotes and product presentations
- Address customer inquiries post-quote for satisfaction and further sales
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge to drive sales
- Maintain accurate customer records and provide responsive support
- Engage potential customers through inbound leads and cold-calling
- Report sales results and updates to management regularly
Inside Sales Representative Requirements:
- Proven success in exceeding sales goals
- Proficient in social media and cold-calling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambitious and target-driven
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Preferably 2+ years of sales experience
