Install Technician

A customer of Insight Global is looking for an Install Technician to support their new customer base on site in Columbus, OH and the surrounding territory. This individual will be responsible for installing new security systems for customers at various residential sites in the local territory. They will utilize their customer service skills to work directly with the customer setting up their new system and getting them cell phone access to the company application for their security system. This individual must be comfortable using their personal vehicle to go to and from the customer sites to the shop location and will have onsite training at the start of their employment. For a candidate with this experience we are looking to pay between 17$ - 20$/ hr with commissions.

Required Skills & Experience
• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver's License
• Comfortable working 40+ hours a week
• Familiar with power and hand tools (i.e Screwdrivers, Wire Cutters, and Drills)
• Basic understanding of networks and internet (i.e how routers, modems, and mesh points interact and what they are, what is a causes internet lags, etc)
• 1-2 years of experience with cabling (pulling, testing, terminating)
• Comfortable working with smart devices and applications
- Excellent customer service skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• 1 year of experience installing security equipment
• 1 year of professional customer service experience
- Technical training
