Insight Global is looking for Install Technicians for a large electronic security client. This person will need to be comfortable driving their own vehicle to the client's commercial buildings throughout the San Fernando Valley region. These technicians will be responsible for managing a queue of customer requests and driving from location to location to perform installation work for Fire Alarm and Security Systems. Additionally, this person will be expected to climb to certain heights as needed for proper installation of equipment, and use various tools as needed to make sure installations are up to customer specifications and our clients code. Technicians will also be responsible for tracking inventory and equipment properly and reporting back to leadership as necessary. This person will also be responsible for running cable, connecting wires, mounting, validating the signals with the call center, apply proper programming per customers request and getting a certificate of completion for each commercial job site. This candidate would ideally have working experience with several of the following systems:
• BA -- Ademco, DMP, Bosch, DSC, Napco, Etc.
• CCTV -- Avigilon, Exacqvision, Open eye, Honeywell, Wisenet (Hanhwa), Speco, etc.
• Fire -- Silent Knight, Bosch, Firelite, EST, Gamewell, Napco, notifier, etc.
• Access -- Brivo, Prowatch, AMAG, Avigilon, Lenel

Required Skills & Experience
5+ year of experience w/ installation of fire, alarm, intrusion, burglary, access control systems, and/or CCTV
Programming experience
Experience pulling wire, running cable, programming, troubleshooting, or installing
Current valid State Driver's License and their own car that can fit a ladder inside
Comfortable using their own 4-6 foot ladder and basic hand tools
Ability to work under general supervision and independently at multiple customer sites on a daily basis and interpret and design system layout to meet the customer needs
Comfortable with computers, and smart phones (know how to navigate), Microsoft Suite (intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Okay with overtime hours if appointments run over/stuck in traffic, etc.
ACE license
HS Diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in the telecommunication/networking industry
Blue Card Certification (Highly Preferred)
NICET I or NICET II certification
Ability to read blueprints and install them
Prior experience with providing services to electrical systems
