We are seeking an experienced Instructional System Designer (ISD) to provide dedicated support to a specific office and general support to other Directorates, Offices, and Centers as required. As an ISD, you will be responsible for facilitating training programs for personnel at all levels across the organization. Your expertise in intelligence analysis, instructional design, and training delivery will play a crucial role in enhancing the analytical skills of our workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to a specific office and general support to other Directorates, Offices, and Centers as needed.
  • Obtain information needed to prepare in-house training programs.
  • Facilitate training programs for personnel at all levels across the organization.
  • Administer experiential learning experiences and simulations.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) to revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and ensure technical information is up to date.
  • Coordinate with Training Administrators (TAs) on class arrangements, conduct training classes, and develop criteria for evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on information technology training needs, trends, methods, new materials, and techniques.


Required Skills

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of analytic experience working as an intelligence analyst within the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • On-the-job experience in providing formal classroom instruction to junior intelligence analysts (as assigned or adjunct faculty).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Documented, comprehensive, and extensive ability to provide instructor-led IC analytic training in a formal (onsite) classroom setting.
  • Documented, comprehensive, and extensive knowledge of IC Analytic Standards, analytic tradecraft and methodologies, and experience applying them to resolve intelligence problems.
  • Documented, comprehensive, and extensive knowledge of the IC's structure and IC member organizations' roles and capabilities regarding analytic matters.
  • Excellent ability to deliver effective oral presentations and prepare written course materials that clearly convey learning objectives and relevant course content.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of IC collaboration tools associated with INTELINK-SBU and INTELINK.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 18+ years of experience, or a master's degree and 10+ years of experience.
