Summary
A Junior Faculty position at the level of Instructor is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dongsu Park in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics and the Center for Skeletal Medicine and Biology at Baylor College of Medicine. We are seeking a highly motivated and independent individual who is interested in studying skeletal biology, particularly stem/progenitor cells responsible for bone/tendon development, regeneration, and bone marrow HSC microenvironment.
The ideal candidate will have an established track records and publications in basic stem cell research, scRNA-seq analysis, and cutting-edge FACS and imaging technology. The candidate will have the ability to work in animal and IRB protocols, ability to work on new and on-going projects funded by NIH and ability to effectively teach undergraduate and/or graduate student research.
Ph.D. degree is required.
