THE OPPORTUNITY:

Hudson County Community College (HCCC) seeks two Instructors for the MED-SURG Nursing Program, Day/Evening Divisions to join its award-winning and nationally recognized institution. The Instructor will guide undergraduate students and be involved in program, area, college, and community service. Additionally, the Instructor will develop new courses in emerging and innovative areas in alignment with other departments, programs, and initiatives at the college. The Nursing Program stands as a beacon of excellence, providing students with a comprehensive education that combines theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and a nurturing environment to prepare graduates to be eligible for the New Jersey State Licensure Examination for Registered Professional Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Position Summary/Job Description

Instructor-Tenure Track (Med-Surg), for Nursing Program (Day/Evening) faculty is a full-time position that will be responsible for successfully performing the professional duties of both didactic and clinical instruction. Experience teaching in the specific discipline for which this position is responsible for, teaching fundamentals and med-surg to first level nursing students. This position also participates in College and Nursing Program Committees and Meetings throughout the academic year.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, RN License in NJ required. Two-years college-level teaching experience, preferably at the community college level. Experience teaching in the specific discipline for which this position is responsible for. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
