Our client, a leader in Auto/Home Insurance is seeking a Insurance Audit Coordinator to join their team.

Job Title: Insurance Audit Coordinator

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $18-21/hr on W2

What's the Job?

The Audit Coordinator will support the Premium Audit team by organizing, monitoring and controlling workflow to internal and external auditors; and serving as a key information and customer service contact.

• Involved in all stages of the premium audit function and is directly linked to its success, supporting the team goals of conducting accurate and timely premium audits, maximizing financial results and retaining profitable business.
• Assist manager in planning and organizing the unit workflow, projects and objectives daily, assist with implementation of processes
• Manage audit exception reports to ensure audits are assigned and completed timely and identify system issues preventing audit uploads.
• Support the assignment of mail, phone and field audits in the policy administration system as needed.
• Create and distribute audit templates to be used by company auditors when completing audits written through a fronting company arrangement.
• Serve as a liaison between various service areas, agents and insureds responding to requests for audit worksheets and/or inquiries regarding audit results.
• Coordinate audit disputes, entailing collecting rationale for disagreement with the audit and working with the Premium Audits

What's Needed?

• HS Diploma
• 2-4 years experience supporting various functions in the Insurance industry, preference for experience working within claims, auditing, policy and premiums issuance
• Excellent coordination, communication, collaboration and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
