Job Description:



  • Analyze claims that come in to determine appropriate policies for reporting, and expected coverage




  • Facilitate productive communication between policy-holder clients and insurers




  • Advocate for favorable and fair outcomes and recovery for clients




  • Provide guidance and advice to broking team on policy and endorsement language and claims implications for underwriting




  • Track claim trends and contribute to internal and/or external communications on relevant claim topics




  • Participate in local and national practice meetings and contribute to development of claim practice


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Attorney with 3 - 5+ years' experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Familiarity with property & casualty insurance, preferably financial and/or professional lines
  • Ability to collaborate and act independently
