Description

As an Insurance Operations Analyst, you will leverage Granular's precision risk solution to provide self-funded employers with more predictable benefit plan protection. You are a builder, able to plan strategically for the benefit of the business and you thrive in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support insurance operations functions within Implementation and Policy Administration and partner with a team of specialists and analysts to evaluate and track necessary documentation needed for client implementation.
  • Monitor claim processes within Claims Department to ensure proper turnaround times are being met.
  • Collaborate with Reporting Team to ensure the required data is being collected and consumed or reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain quality control processes to ensure performance standards are being met.
  • Assist Operations Department with various administrative tasks and complete ad-hoc projects, as assigned by Policy Administration Team Lead or Director of Insurance Operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Undergraduate BA/BS degree.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational/analytical skills and the capability oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess strong writing, research, project management, collaboration, and execution skills.
  • Capable of successfully and independently executing processes.
  • Work cross-functionally in support of complex operational project.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial knowledge (degree not required); desire to reconcile and locate discrepancies within data.
  • Generally, an ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience in health insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using Google Sheets, Salesforce, Lucidchart.
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, evolving, startup environment.
  • Excellent listening, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $85,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
