Assists with the development and implementation of interfaces using an integration engine. Works with members of the integration team on interface projects from request through design, coding, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and follow-up. Follows project development life-cycle standards in implementing projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, communicating with users and interpreting their requirements into specifications, and working with other departmental staff, including technical and operations personnel. Develops documentation and maintains materials, where appropriate. Participates in after-hours support as needed.

Education

Bachelors Degree: In Applied Business or Technical Specialty. (Required)

Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience

1 Year experience in a technical role supporting information systems. (Required)

1 Year experience with hospital information systems implementation or support. (Preferred)

1 Year experience working with interfaces or knowledge of the functioning of such, preferably in a healthcare environment (HL7). (Preferred)

General Experience with computer programming languages (Mumps, Cache, Oracle, e*Gate, Ensemble, Bridges, Orion Rhapsody) or other interface engines (Preferred)

General Experience with e*Gate, Ensemble, Bridges, Orion Rhapsody or other interface engines. (Preferred)
