Interactivity Producer

Chicago Sports Network is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and creative Interactivity Producer to join our dynamic and newly formed Audience Development team. The interactivity Producer will be responsible for creating content that drives viewership and engagement for studio shows and live game telecasts. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of social media platforms, video editing and knowledge of network content management systems, and a deep passion for sports. As the Interactivity Producer you will be responsible for successfully executing growth strategies to support company goals, helping to create a community & engagement. interactivity elements integrated into live game telecasts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, plan, and produce compelling interactivity that aligns with our brand's voice and resonates with our audience.
• Collaborate with show and game producers to develop an effective interactivity strategy. Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques to drive viewership and engagement.
• Utilize third-party software vendors like tagboard, fanmaker, etc. to drive engagement and foster loyalty.
• Monitor key performance metrics, such as views, watch time, engagement, and conversion rates. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize content for increased viewership and audience engagement.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure the seamless integration of promotional messaging and interactivity elements into shows and live game (e.g., polls, trivia, live chats, etc.).
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to live streaming and viewer engagement and propose innovative ideas for enhancing the overall engagement.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience
• Demonstrated experience in digital content production, preferably in a sports television network or similar industry.
• Proven experience in managing YouTube channels, creating, and optimizing content to drive viewership, subscribers, and engagement.
• Familiarity with video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator).
• Knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, particularly in the context of YouTube.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing and monitoring the streaming of live sports events, preferably within a sports network or media organization.
• Proficiency in using streaming platforms, video players, and related tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate live sports event schedules.
• A genuine passion for sports and a solid understanding of various sports disciplines, leagues, and players.

The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will launch in October across multiple platforms. The network will air more than 300 live Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox games annually and include pre- and postgame coverage while showing multisport programming 24 hours a day. CHSN will broadcast from studios located in both Chicago's United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field. The network will start airing Blackhawks and Bulls preseason games in October, showing White Sox games beginning in 2025.
