SUMMARY
The Senior Interface Coordinator manages the team of Interface analysts and Coordinators responsible for the analysis, design, build, testing, and support of HL7 and other real-time and batch interfaces between clinical and revenue cycle applications. In addition to managing the team's day-to-day build and support activities the Lead Interface Coordinator is responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of interface software functionality and working effectively with application coordinators, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders in an interdisciplinary fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent education, training and/or experience
- Implementation experience involving advanced clinical and financial applications
- Minimum 7+ years related experience
- Must have experience in multiple implementations in an interface / data conversion capacity
- Possesses an understanding of computer system capabilities to address process requirements
- Ability to integrate process steps and handoffs across disciplines and drive teams to decisions
- Skilled at problem solving
- Strong communication skills - written and oral
- Excellent organizational skills
- Academic Medical Center experience preferred but not required
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products inlcuding Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio
