Intern Employee Experience Designer

We are currently seeking an Intern Employee Experience Designer to join our team.

This position is responsible for learning to assist in the creation and maintenance of a consistent, productive, and engaging employee experience for Innovative Technology Solutions (ITS) employees. Communicates regularly with ITS Management to best understand the needs of the department and ensures consistency of ITS employee experiences from a culture, technology, and physical environment perspective. Works collaboratively with Employee Experience (EX) team in the analysis, design, creation, and support of an exceptional work environment that provides constant improvement to how ITS employees learn, grow, contribute, and thrive.

Qualifications:

  • Learns by participating in the alignment of ITS Employee Experience with the overall Insperity culture, mission, and values.
  • Works towards aligning training and development needs with the organizational goals and objectives.
  • Stays atop industry trends and standards in order to bring best practices and innovative ideas to enhance the growth and development of ITS staff.
  • Works closely with EX team to provide vision and strategies for affective employee training and development medium (i.e., LMS).
  • Works closely with EX team in partnering with other departments within Insperity to align and implement Employee Experience initiatives.
  • Learns to analyze and enhance Employee Experience communication through the utilization of various mediums.
  • Works closely with EX team and functional management to analyze training needs and design employee development plans.
  • Collaborates with and assists all members of the Employee Experience department for the delivery of department wide initiatives as needed.
  • Fosters a positive attitude within the team towards the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
  • Identifies and participates in training and development activities to increase knowledge, expertise, and effectiveness.
  • Works closely with EX team and relevant department staff and management to create, develop, and refine staff management practices.
  • Works closely with EX team to analyze workload, throughput, assignments, and capacity. Recommends changes to tools and processes to enable team effectiveness.
  • Maintains effective and thorough communication among technology staff.


Responsibilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • Zero to one year of professional experience is required.

  • Possesses some knowledge of employee experience and its impact on the organization, and applies knowledge towards the fostering a consistent, engaging, and productive employee experience for ITS employees.
  • Innovative in ways for improving all phases of the employee experience life cycle.
  • Ability to command control of a problem and organize resources and knowledge to attain solutions.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express some employee experience concepts in business terms, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
  • Exhibits the ability to apply logical thinking in the development of solutions, and able to manage problem-solving activity in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Exhibits a commitment to the utilization and enforcement of defined standards and processes.
  • Comfortable in working with unknowns.
