The KSE Information Technology (IT) Department provides a broad range of technology services supporting operations at the enterprise, business unit, department, event, and project levels within the company. The IT department focuses on building and maintaining a reliable and secure technology infrastructure while delivering quality services that are prompt, cost effective, and reliable.

Nature of Work:

Provides support for cloud computing operations including user and application administration.

Examples of work performed:

• Supports regular activities for the Cloud Operations team.
• Completes basic cloud operations tasks including user account and application administration, application development and control, workflow and security monitoring.
• Creates and maintains documentation for cloud computing operations.
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Lift, bend, place, maneuver as necessary to deploy computing equipment
• Work event schedules as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum
  1. High school diploma or GED, required
  2. Currently enrolled in a (4-year) undergraduate or graduate degree program
  3. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
• Preferred
  1. Computer Science, Programming, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, Math, or similar major.

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in the use of computers and laptops running the Windows operating system.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of computer networks and data communications.
• Understanding of network components and technical terms.
• Good analytical skills for investigating cloud computing issues.
• Good communications skills for working with a wide variety of end users
• Excellent organizational skills for creating priorities, documenting problems and solutions, following detailed instructions.

Compensation

• Base hourly rate of $18.29 per hour
