Meta is hiring an Internal Communications Manager to support the company's Sales and Monetization function in order to connect employees to the overarching monetization strategy and inspire them to do their best work every day through strong internal communications. This role has a global remit and is part of the Internal Communications team. It is an individual contributor position. Meta's Monetization efforts span across many teams that drive outcomes for advertisers through our suite of products and solutions. This candidate will work with our Sales teams, who bring our products and solutions to advertisers to drive their marketing initiatives, and cultivate meaningful relationships with clients. In addition, this candidate will work with key partners to drive a more consistent narrative across Sales and Monetization Product teams - who create and manage our advertising products and solutions that enable businesses to connect with their target audiences on Meta platforms. This candidate will craft internal narratives and strategies that keep Sales teams informed, inspired, and connected to Meta and the work that we do; support executives in driving internal communications efforts; lead on various change-related initiatives and projects across these teams; and be a key advisor to cross-functional partners, working with them to create, lead, and execute internal initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who excels at collaborating with executives, colleagues, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality work. You must possess strong organizational skills and be capable of managing multiple cross-functional projects and work streams end to end. Strong writing and editing skills are essential-specifically the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences in a clear and concise manner. You should have an understanding of internal comms methodologies, particularly change communication, measurement and analysis, as well as remote and in-person event production. You should be passionate about the services Meta provides, the people we serve, and the partners and businesses we support.

Internal Communications Manager, Sales and Monetization Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute communication initiatives in partnership with teams across Monetization to support the Sales teams.

  • Provide proactive and reactive messaging that supports key initiatives and program rollouts.

  • Understand the unique needs of the business teams (priorities, tools, process, culture) in order to produce effective and relevant communication strategies.

  • Consult with leadership on their communication priorities and change management initiatives.

  • Write and develop messaging around various topics, including org and company strategy, priorities, product launches and announcements.

  • Identify opportunities to share organization milestones with the company.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement consistent messaging across the organization.

  • Partner closely with other internal and external communications teams as well as HR, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Legal, Sales Strategic Planning, Data Science, Finance, Learning, Executive Teams, and others to align on communication opportunities.

  • Manage internal forums (Workplace Groups) and internal org events (All Hands

  • Q&As) which include creating narrative themes, developing executive messaging, and consulting on other speakers' content.

  • Implement data measurement and analysis strategies to guide communications best practices.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years professional experience working in internal communications, corporate communications, or mission-driven communications. Minimum 2 years of dedicated internal communications experience.

  • Experience counseling and influencing senior executives.

  • Experience producing content for internal audiences at varying levels across an organization.

  • Experience writing and turning complex information into relevant, engaging, timely and valuable content.

  • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience in solving problems using judgment, data measurement, and analysis, providing practical, timely and effective communications guidance and support.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in public relations, journalism, branding and campaigns.

  • Experience in the technology or advertising industry.

  • Experience leading internal communications for a globally distributed and hybrid workforce (remote and in-person).

  • Experience working with leadership on their communication priorities and change management initiatives.
