Facilitates Agile events that help the Engineering team deliver value incrementally and iteratively

Supports the Program Increment (PI) execution through facilitating team level events and partners with the RTE.

Supports the team in achieving the PI objectives

Supports Product Owners through backlog refinement, backlog readiness, definition of ready/done and support writing user stories.

Supports coordination across Team of Teams (Agile Release Train (ART)/Release Train Engineer (RTE)).

Supports, monitors, and provides visibility around gaps, impediments, risks, and dependencies.

Fosters practices for identifying, tracking, discussing and resolving cross-team dependencies within the team, taking ownership of a dependency in some circumstances.

Manages and organizes delivery effectiveness metrics to track progress and improvement over time. Collaborating with integrated teams to deliver solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with product managers, architects, developers, and QA teams.

Creates an environment of continuous improvement through honest communication and regular retrospectives with the goal to surface issues/concerns and to identify clear action steps

Planning and executing of the Technology development schedule for major product releases

Tracking status, progress and other critical metrics in relation to the plan and publishing progress reports to senior partners

Maintaining release and dependency plans across development teams, external partners and third parties

Identifying and raising risks, issues, and changes tied to the product development initiatives

Resolving impediments precluding teams from making progress against plans

Ensuring deliverables across Technology teams are high-quality and clearly documented

Organizing and executing Pre and Post PI Planning sessions, daily stand-ups, scrum of scrums and retrospectives at the end of each planned unit of work, with a focus on continuously learning from the past

Finding opportunities to embrace innovative technologies and processes

Pay $17-19 USD

Required Skills & Experience

University Degree or equivalent experience in related field and/or prior relevant Technology or business experience

Strong experience as Agile Champion, Scrum Master, Technical Project Manager or related

Strong experience with Jira and Rally

Strong experience leading scaled (SAFe) Agile ceremonies

Strong understanding of full development lifecycles and terminology, i.e. blue-green and green-blue deployments, ramping up traffic in production, etc.

Proven technical experience in software engineering, infrastructure, operations or product delivery & system integration is preferred

Organizational skills and self-motivation

Knowledge of internal delivery tools & a desire to deepen understanding

Courage, curiosity, passion & resourcefulness and ability to influence and gain alignment at all levels of the organization including senior leadership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

SAFe Agilist certification a plus.

Strong facilitation and communication skills. Industry and Company Knowledge Shows skill in Agile/Lean/SAFe Principles and Frameworks quality and testing best practices.
