Internship Location, Availability and Hours:

Located in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office, interns must be able to work full time during the summer, 37.5 - 40 hours per week. We are seeking a student who can start in May 2025.

As a Baird Advisors Intern, you will:
  • Create and update Excel spreadsheets and make updates in various systems that are used to report out on our business and investment processes; attention to detail is a must
  • Monitor and review reports to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Actively drive process improvements on items assigned or identified
  • Spend time with various portfolio managers on the team to learn more about our investment process
  • Perform additional duties and assist with projects as assigned

What we look for:
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred; GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to take complex issues and distill them to key points
  • A high level of professionalism is mandatory
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented individual with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office package - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
