We are looking for Specialists and Team Members to join us in crafting a wide variety of vehicles from the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV to our all-electric electric vehicle, the EQS SUV and EQE SUV. Our Tuscaloosa County site is home to the production of Mercedes' luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles. Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Our two campuses are among the most advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world, with over 6 million square feet combined

Essential Functions:
Participation in a new type project (vehicle) in the plant project lead function:

• Control and coordination of critical and cross-divisional topics with different production areas (body shop, paint shop, assembly, logistics, quality)
• Involvement in reporting as well as the preparation and follow-up of meetings
• Coordination appointments and workshops with the areas of planning, development and production
• Participation in the implementation and further development of project management methods
• Support projects in transition to plant phase

Other Regular Daily Tasks:

• Work directly with key personnel to understand project concept, objectives, and approach

Qualifikationen QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position

Education

• Student in: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• Project Management skills
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office, especially Power Point, Excel and Adobe
• Confident German and English skill, both written and spoken
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient working in a multi-cultural environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

Preferred Start Date

• August 2024

• Paid Internship - hourly rate $18

• $700 housing bonus

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's degree
• Studies outside of the U.S.A (we are not accepting applications from students who are currently studying in the U.S.A)
• A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
• Available for a minimum of 6 months
