Internship, Integration Engineer Chassis Systems, Vehicle Firmware (Winter/Spring 2025)

This position is expected to start around January 2025 and continue through the entire Winter term (i.e. through May 2025) or into Summer 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Closed loop simulation for chassis controls systems
• Chassis Controls feature development (Embedded C and simulation)
• Tool development for vehicle level metrics in both simulation and in-vehicle

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field of study with a graduation date between April 2025-December 2026
• Strong C/C++ comprehension
• Experience with Python programming
• Comfortable with Electrical Engineering fundamentals
• Embedded experience through internships, school projects, or student design clubs
• Experience with networked micro-controllers, CAN or other vehicle networking protocols, preferred
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins), preferred
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or service environment, preferred
• Experience with FSAE or similar, preferred

Expected Compensation

$36.06 - $50.48, depending on level + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
