Our Employer Brand Team:

This intern will be part of our Employer Brand team. Our Employer Brand team is part of our Talent Acquisition team within Human Resources. Talent Acquisition is responsible for attracting, sourcing and hiring top talent across the firm and promoting Baird as a best place to work. This intern will work closely with the Employer Brand Specialist and Talent Acquisition/Employer Brand Manager to assist in sharing the Baird story to attract and hire talent.

Internship Location, Availability and Hours:

Located in our downtown Milwaukee office, the intern must be able to work part-time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week, and full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who can start January 2025 or earlier.

As a Recruitment Marketing Intern, you will:
  • Assist in content creation and execution of the Talent Acquisition social media strategy to successfully promote Baird opportunities and culture across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X
  • Assist with building email campaigns in candidate relationship management system (CRM), Beamery
  • Consistently report out on social media and email marketing success, utilizing Google Analytics and the enterprise social media tool, Sprout Social
  • Create branded materials and communications for Baird’s intern program and recruitment campaigns
  • Audit and manage content library, make recommendations for content initiatives
  • Assist in the continued formalization of Baird’s associate social media advocacy program
  • Provide continual recommendations and conduct competitive research on how other brands in our space are leveraging social media, web and email marketing to present their company as a best place to work
  • Support in reputation management through co-managing firm Glassdoor/Indeed profiles
  • Support projects for the Campus Recruiting team and Talent Acquisition


What we look for:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related degree. Targeting May 2026 or later graduation dates
  • Interest and experience in social media, including content creation and editing with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.
  • Strong writing, communication and customer service skills
  • Forward thinker with a balance of creativity, curiosity, care, ability to anticipate needs and personal drive
  • Exceptional organizational/time management skills and attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and meet all deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically with PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Teams
  • Interest in Talent Acquisition and/or Marketing preferred
  • Prior experience in an office setting preferred
