Requirements / Qualifications

- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services: School Counseling OR School Social Work
- Master's Degree in Education, Counseling or Related Field Required

Position Description:
Counselor, through intervention counseling and directly related activities, seeks to facilitate individual students toward learning, academic success, and the development of acceptable behavior patterns thus helping students have a successful school experience.

The attached credential copy must include DETAILED credential information including the document number, authorization code, authorization description, issue date, and expiration date. Such copies can be obtained using the link provided to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website through the "Secured Search" option.

  • Copy of Transcript (All Undergraduate AND Graduate coursework. MUST INCLUDE PROOF OF MASTER'S DEGREE.)
  • Credential Copy (A detailed & non-expired copy from CTC website OR an Intern Eligible letter from your University OR a credential status letter from your university with an anticipated date of completion OR proof of credential application. PLEASE NOTE: Credential must post by July 1, 2024.)
  • Letter of Introduction (Letter of Introduction)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) letters of recommendation - must be signed and dated within the last 24 months. Only wet signatures and e-signatures will be accepted; names typed out in a stylized font will not be accepted as a signature. Letters from relatives are not acceptable.)
