Insight Global is seeking a Java API Developer to support a multi-national power management client of ours. This resource will be based in India, supporting some of the digital customer experience applications for this client. They will be responsible for both developing APIs, along with supporting existing applications and bug fixes. They will work in Microsoft azure to create APIs, build CI/CD pipelines, etc. The goal in this role is to evolve to a 50% development, 50% support in the long term.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience Java development experience (Java 8 or higher)
Experience using Apigee for developing and managing APIs.
Experience w/ databases (SQL Server/NoSQL)
Experience supporting applications.
Cloud experience (Azure, AWS)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Azure cloud specific experience
Experience supporting C#/.NET applications (identifying bugs/making code fixes)
Experience with GitHub
