Responsibilities:

* Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based backend services and applications.

* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

* Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

* Troubleshooting and debugging production issues across multiple environments.

* Optimizing application performance and scalability.

* Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.

* Mentoring junior developers and helping them grow their skills.

* Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

* Participating in the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

* Working closely with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services.

Skills:

* Expertise in Java programming language and its ecosystem.

* Proficiency in backend development frameworks including Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.

* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

* Experience with RESTful web services and API design.

* Knowledge of database systems like MySQL and AzureSQL.

* Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

* Experience with version control systems such as Git.

* Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

* Ability to write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

* 6-8 plus years of professional experience in Java backend development.

* Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Certifications in Java or related technologies (optional but beneficial).
