An employer is looking for a Senior React/ Node Engineer to sit remotely. Your primary focus will be to own development efforts related to the clients international/ LATAM ecommerce products as part of the admin portal team. You will assist with the build out of a design system that caters to a world-wide audience and reduces time to iterate on new features and ideas. You will leverage new technologies, platforms, and partners like GraphQL, React, Node, etc. You will design and present new initiatives, software and architecture/ design patterns to your peers and support your efforts through to fruition. You will operate in an Agile/ Scrum fashion and partner closely with peer teams to ensure quality and timely development results. Additional tasks will include building new React components, API endpoints and AWS infrastructure as code as well as writing Unit and end to end tests as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-haves
6+ years experience in JavaScript/ Typescript (70% front-end and 30% back-end)
Node/ React experience
GraphQL experience
Familiarity with SQL/ NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis)
Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum methodology
Unit and end to end testing experience (Jest)
