About This Position

The Inventory Team Member is responsible for maintaining acceptable inventory levels, manage key locker inventory and organization, cycle counts, reporting low inventory levels to purchasing. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards of organization and take initiative to prioritize daily tasks.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain adequate level of stock to ensure items can be pulled and shipped immediately to customers.
  • Ensure all inventory is organized and clearly labeled.
  • Complete cycle counts as needed.
  • Verify receiving dates are written on pallets, along with product models.
  • Report any misplaced items or improperly labeled items.
  • Verify proper rotation of Inventory- (first in-first out)
  • Build and maintain a variety of kits for customer deployments.
  • Work with Service Now administrators to ensure inventory system operates efficiently.
  • Receive inventory and ensure it is entered into Service Now, put away, and labeled.
  • Manage Key Lockers by ensuring that we have inventory of needed keys and they are entered into Service Now correctly.
  • Verify received inventory matches packing slip.
  • Assist Equipment request team in pulling orders for customer request when needed.
  • Assist with shipping/receiving when needed.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.

What You'll Need

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of KCN
  • Organization in a professional manner.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and familiarity with inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Keefe, Trinity, Access & KCN items
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to resolve problems.
  • Strong time management skills and prove of ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and situations.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs).
  • Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
  • Order filling experience preferred.
