Your role

• Conduct Investment risk analysis including performance, attribution, exposure, value-at-risk (VaR), scenario analysis, and stress testing for alternative investments with focus on credit investments including bank loan, high yield bond, CLO, private debt, and credit hedge fund;
• Work closely with portfolio management teams in developing and refining investment risk models and analytics;
• Develop and produce customized investment risk reports for portfolio management, senior man-agement, and investors;
• Assess portfolio risk exposures/limits and escalate issues when risk levels may be inappropriate
• Communicate and present risk analysis results to senior risk managers and portfolio managers

AM Risk Control is part of UBS Global Risk Control. We work closely with portfolio management teams to manage and measure the investment risk. Your expertise

AM Risk Control team is looking for a Junior Investment Risk Analyst to join the team in our New York office
• 1-5 years financial industry experience, preferably in credit products or risk management;
• Knowledge of credit products and broader financial markets;
• Solid quantitative and analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to produce high quality work under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Solid communication and presentation, and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work well as part of a global team, team player with a flexible approach, and self-starter;
• Undergraduate or graduate degree majoring in finance, math, engineering, or other quantitative disciplines.
