Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled iOS Developer for an initial 5+ months contract based in Menlo Park, CA. As the Principal Software Engineer, Mobile iOS, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing advanced features for our iOS/VisionOS (Mixed Reality) applications. Collaborating closely with the development team, including designers and backend developers, you will lead the software architecture to ensure our apps meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in iOS application development.
• Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks, including UIKit and ARKit.
• Experience in deploying AI/ML models and assets into mobile applications.
• Ability to lead and contribute to the overall software architecture.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

AR/xR Prototyping: Develop prototypes for future AR/xR experiences, contributing to the ongoing development and integration of robust solutions into the product.

User Interface (UI) Design: Utilize Swift or Objective-C and leverage iOS frameworks such as UIKit, ARKit, etc., to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that deliver an exceptional user experience.

Model Deployment and Integration: Collaborate with the Computer Vision team to deploy AI/ML models and assets into medical devices or head-mounted devices. This involves optimizing models for real-time performance, ensuring compatibility with device hardware and software, and implementing APIs for seamless communication between AI/ML models/assets and the device.

Software Development: Design, architect, and develop maintainable, testable, and functional software that meets both product and customer requirements.
