The IS&T Retail Engineering organization has the goal of providing intuitive, seamless, and inspiring customer shopping experiences through interactions with our people, products, and services. We are seeking an experienced senior leader to orchestrate retail expansion programs and other large-scale strategic programs for Apple Retail engineering. This role requires mobilizing cross-functional teams from both business and IT to influence, drive, and implement innovative retail concepts. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, with the ability to encourage and effectively lead a team of highly qualified Program managers. The candidate must excel in communication, providing status updates, and addressing issues with all levels of management, business stakeholders, and officials from various governmental agencies.

Retail Expansion Programs are crucial within Apple's Retail Engineering organization. With a strategic mindset and strong operational abilities, the Manager of this team acts as an ambassador and influencer, driving Retail's growth into new markets. This highly visible communicator leads engineering and business teams in creating systematic solutions to support the Apple store Retail operations in a new country.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Lead engineering and business teams in developing systematic solutions that support the procurement, sale, and service of materials and hardware, establishing new product supply chains for international markets.
- Effective leadership across diverse teams is essential, as this role sets the tone, pace, and priorities for the Retail expansion program.
- Exceptional decision-making, leadership among peers, courage, confidence, and relentless curiosity for emerging trends in technology, regulations, culture, and retail are essential qualities.
- Adept at swiftly identifying key levers to drive performance and prioritize both team and individual development.
