POSITION OVERVIEW :
Client is building solutions to dramatically change the way people purchase their daily goods.
Provide the modern-day solution to meet customerâs immediate everyday needs with products ranging from snacks and ice cream to household goods and beer, at the click of a button.
The IT Asset Specialist will be a part of a team responsible for distribution, tracking, repair, and maintenance of our field and HQ technology assets.
This role interacts directly with employees at client locations as well as our corporate staff.
POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
Responsibilities
Create a reliable and up-to-date inventory of hardware assets in use at Clientâs locations.
Monitor and resolve tickets related to replacement hardware throughout our enterprise.
Receive and repair, or dispatch for repair, hardware items from locations throughout the Clientâs network.
Liaise with 3rd party vendors and OEMs to manage repair turnaround times and spare equipment inventory.
Maintain an orderly and organized inventory of new and repaired equipment.
Track hardware assets through the full lifecycle, from purchase to use to repair to end-of-life, providing reports as requested.
Assist other IT teams, as time permits, on more complex projects Qualifications
Basic Qualification
6 + years Asset Management experience
Experience with ITSM Platforms (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice)
Must have experience managing thousands of hardware assets over multiple physical locations in multiple countries
Highly Preferred Skills:
6 - 8 years - Asset Management.
Ideal candidates would have a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline and industry certifications such as A+, Network +, Cisco CCNE/CCNA, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android
Experience managing thousands of hardware assets over multiple physical locations in multiple countries.
Experience with ITSM Platforms (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice)
Experience with POS systems (Square, NCR Emerald) is a plus
Understanding of Endpoint Configuration Management and Mobile Device Management concepts (Intune, JAMF, KACE)
Ability to learn and pick up concepts quickly
Detailed-oriented, aware of secondary effects resulting from changes
Experience working both independently or as part of a project group
Confidence in making wise decisions on your own within generally defined parameters
Adeptness in investigating problems outside your own knowledge area
Strong organizational and analytical skills; oral and written communication skills
Must possess a positive and professional attitude
Experience working with virtual/remote staff members
Customer service-oriented focus
Education: Bachelors Degree
Certification: Network+ (Plus) Certification , A+ (Plus) Certification , Cisco Certified Network Associate
