This position will be part of the CCDA (Consumer, Clinical Applications & Data) Team within CommonSpirit Health's Information Technology Group and provides subject matter expertise to highly complex projects, multi-year programs or enterprise-wide assignments. Responsible for completing all tasks and associated documentation within committed timeframes, and effectively communicating across teams and all levels of management. The incumbent will exercise IT Business judgment , technical acumen and aptitude to guide the team towards best possible technical solutions for a given use case. This position will support many digital projects as part of CommonSpirit Health's goal of opening digital doors for our patients to have maximum reach. This position works on one or more projects and programs as a technical expert and data analyst. This includes assisting technical leadership with different initiatives. Leads focused technical analysis discussions, delivers supporting artifacts and drives review sessions for all necessary approvals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities.
  • Understand EHR data and standards to help build solutions using that knowledge
  • Working with Epic teams to find the information we need to complete solution designs
  • Work with FHIR APIs to help design solutions
  • Work with provider marketing data to design solution and troubleshoot Prod issues
  • Assist in maintenance and upgrades of existing software applications.
  • Participate in design and architecture reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products.
  • Analyze EHR applications and provide valuable insights needed to build solutions relying on EHR.
  • Help develop most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Work with other team members in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.
  • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Attend team meetings to communicate project status and discuss new ideas and any issues.
  • Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Make business presentations to management when needed.
  • Protects organization by keeping information confidential and safe
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
  • Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare environment.
  • 4-7 years' experience working in IT as an Application Systems Analyst or Technical Analyst role

Skills:
-Operational knowledge of Healthcare IT integration concepts like interfaces/EDI, APIs,FHIR and evolving technology is a must.
-Experience working with Epic EHR system
-Knowledge of different Epic modules
-Excellent writing/documentation and communication skills.
-Fast learner, quality consciousness and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
-Knowledge of troubleshooting software.
-Experience working with project life cycle or project management methodologies required.
-4 or more years' experience with application development or support in a hospital or medical related industry required.
-Ability to understand technology projects and concepts as they relate to high level business objectives and ability to present those concepts to both IT and non-IT audiences in concise and easily understandable manner is required.
-Strong Analytical and problem solving skills required.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines is required.
-Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to manage up, down and across levels of the organization is required.
-Highly self-motivated, ability to complete assignments with limited supervision and attention to detail is required.
- Operational understanding and ability to work in a complex and matrix oriented team environment.
