We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of advanced monitoring capabilities within our Data Center environment. This is a highly impactful role responsible for ensuring the visibility, reliability, and performance of our critical infrastructure. You will work with cross functional teams to deliver solutions that enhance our ability to prevent incidents, troubleshoot effectively, and optimize data center health.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Define the strategic roadmap for data center monitoring, aligning with organizational goals, risk tolerance, and industry best practices.
- Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Collaborate with data center engineers, network operations, security, application teams, and other stakeholders to understand their monitoring needs. Design and select monitoring solutions, tools, and frameworks that meet these requirements while considering performance, scalability, and budget constraints.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of new monitoring capabilities, including vendor management, budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation. Lead project teams, track milestones, and mitigate risks proactively.
- Continuous Improvement: Establish clear metrics and KPIs to measure monitoring effectiveness. Proactively identify opportunities to refine and enhance monitoring capabilities, ensuring they keep pace with evolving data center technology and business needs.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on monitoring solutions, configurations, and procedures. Promote knowledge sharing and training for IT personnel to ensure consistent and efficient use of monitoring tools.
- Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Facilitate collaboration during outages or performance degradations. Support the rapid diagnosis of issues using monitoring data and tools.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management with a focus on Data Center operations
- 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional technology projects
- 3+ years supporting Cloud environments, AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Deep understanding of monitoring concepts, tools such as: servers, networks, storage, and virtualization
- Experience with one or more major monitoring platforms (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Any basic scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python, Bash) for automation and data analysis
